Moon Phases
Five large white crescent-moon sculptures arranged in a row at a Bali lifestyle hotel. Daytime architecture; nightfall ritual — the studio composed the multimedia choreography that activates the crescents in sequence, projection-mapped from new moon to full moon to crowd.
- Brief
Activate five large crescent-moon sculptures at a Bali lifestyle hotel — daytime architecture, nightfall ritual.
- Approach
Treat the five crescents as a single ensemble. By day, white form against palms. By night, projection-mapped phases.
- Outcome
A nightly composition synchronised across five surfaces — earth and fire palette, audio-reactive choreography for events.
- Challenges
Outdoor projection-mapping at scale in tropical humidity. Each crescent had to read independently and as part of the set.
- Result
A signature multimedia anchor for the venue's events programme. Visible from across the property after dark.

Moon Phases is five large crescent sculptures standing in a row at a Bali lifestyle hotel. By day, they read as architecture against the palms. By night, the studio's composition wakes them — projection-mapped sequences that step the audience through phase after phase.
I · Daytime sculpture
By day, the installation is restraint: five clean white crescents on a low platform, framed by hotel architecture and tropical palms. The studio's equipment lives behind the rig; the sculptures are the protagonists.

II · Nightfall ritual
After dusk the discipline reverses. Five projection sequences run in synchrony — earth-and-fire palette, drifting smoke, choreography tuned to the room's audio. Each crescent reads independently and as part of the set; the ensemble traces a phase-by-phase ceremony around the platform.

III · Process
The crescents arrived as raw white form. The studio composed the multimedia language on top — projection geometry calibrated per surface, content sequences synchronised across all five, audio integrated so guests pass through the work rather than watching it.

Five surfaces, one composition.
