Aurora Park is a landscape that wakes after dusk. The studio composed it as a pathway — not a stroll, but a slow ritual: the walker steps in, the path replies in light.
I · The walk after dusk
After sunset, Aurora Park composes itself. The path lights respond to the time of evening, the rhythm of the walker, the proximity of others. Twisted black metal arches frame the route at intervals — sculptural at noon, theatrical after dark.
The intention: the longer one walks, the more attentively the path replies. A demonstration that landscape can hold attention without spectacle.
II · A landscape, not a stage
Tropical climate is a design constraint of the first order. Every fixture is exposed to sea air, rain, and the slow corrosion of the coastline. We chose ground-mounted housings that disappear into the planting by day, and tuned the light temperature to read warm at the threshold and cool deeper into the path.
Around the route, neighbouring studios' works — woven sculptures, hanging vessels, sculptural plantings — act as still notes between the studio's beats of light. We compose the rhythm; the city composes the room.
